These Site Terms govern your use of the Amberwhisk Confectionery website, a sweets shop and bakery at 38 Lower Rochester Road, Observatory, Cape Town, 7925. By visiting or using these pages, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please leave the site. We sell chocolates, candies, pastries, bread, and cakes from the counter. Nothing on this site is a prize, a medical claim, or a promise that a tray will still be on the shelf after the morning rush.

Use of the pages

You may browse public pages, read kitchen notes on chocolate boxes, pastry trays, celebration cakes, candies, nougat, bread, and seasonal tins, and write through the published forms. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or submit unlawful, harmful, or misleading information. Do not send payment-card numbers, passwords, or requests that treat this kitchen as a same-day stacked-cake factory. Comments about flavour, lead times, and allergens are guest remarks, not a contract until the kitchen confirms an order in writing.

Products and copy

Descriptions of chocolates, pastries, cakes, candies, and bread, including 9-, 16-, and 25-piece boxes, three-working-day cake windows, two oven runs, and Monday rest days, are shop notes based on how the kitchen currently works. We may update copy at any time when a recipe, lead time, or allergen card changes. A notes article is not a contract, not a stock guarantee, and not a claim that a flavour will return next month. Collect from the Observatory counter or write for a weekday delivery window; Amberwhisk does not run a nationwide warehouse.

Marks and ownership

Amberwhisk, Amberwhisk Confectionery, and original text, layout, and photographs on this website belong to the shop for the pages we publish. Supplier marks in the decorative mill and cocoa row are labels only, not exclusive contracts. You may not copy, sell, or republish our original notes without permission, except for reasonable personal, non-commercial viewing. You also may not present this site as a franchise or as another bakery’s storefront.

Outside links

The site may link to social networks and other external websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Use those sites under their own terms. A link to a map or a font provider is a citation, not a claim that Amberwhisk is affiliated with those companies. Cake calendars and chocolate holds live in the kitchen diary, not on a third-party feed.

Limits

The website is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, Amberwhisk is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including downtime, inaccurate copy, or a mismatch between a notes page and a tray that sold out after the morning oven run. We do not guarantee leftover pastry after eleven, a seasonal tin after the cocoa allocation is used, or a stacked cake in fewer than five working days. Food sold at the counter still belongs to the kitchen that baked it.

How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy page and Cookies page. Visit mail goes to [email protected] for this bakery only. We do not use guest mail to alter anyone else’s cake date, chocolate hold, or bread order.
